If you have an old phone or device which no longer supports available authenticator applications, you should use the Phone/Text MFA method.
If your phone is not running Apple iOS or Google’s Android OS e.g. Huawei, it won’t have access to their app stores. You should check the manufacturer or operating system provider app store for an appropriate TOTP authenticator application. If no suitable application is available, then you can use the Phone/Text MFA method.
