If you have been awarded Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), you will be emailed a letter from Student Finance England, or your funding body. This letter is known as a 'DSA entitlement letter' or a ‘DSA2’.
This letter details your recommended support. You will receive a copy of the letter to your email account.
If you have been awarded specialist equipment and/or software Capita or StudyTech will contact you to arrange delivery. If you’ve not heard from them six days after you receive your DSA2, contact them using the details given in your DSA2 letter.
If you have been recommended a laptop you will need to contribute £200 to the equipment supplier and Student Finance England (or other funding body) will pay the rest.
If you have any questions, please contact Hallam Help to book a telephone Quick Query Appointment with Disabled Student Support.
