How Do I Use the Hearing Loop Systems in Teaching Rooms
Sheffield Hallam has a hearing loop system available in all teaching rooms.
Due to changes and advances in technology, we are currently using both traditional hearing loop systems and infrared systems at Sheffield Hallam.
You can connect directly to rooms with a traditional loop system via the T-channel on your hearing instrument.
For rooms with infrared systems, you will need a separate receiver to connect to the loop system.
Details are included below about the different infrared loop systems used at SHU.
