Reporting a missing timetable
You should be able to see a semester 1 timetable from the start of year. That is, a MyTimetable account where you can see teaching activities such as lectures or group sessions in the weeks of the semester (some courses may start earlier than the standard weeks, or continue for longer)
- Returning students should see a semester 1 timetable in the Summer.
- New students should see a semester 1 from the Monday of Welcome Week.
- Students returning from the first year of a foundation course to their level 4 study will have a timetable alongside the new students, since they are timetabled together.
- All students should see their semester 2 timetable before the end of semester 1.
If you can’t see your timetable, then you need to report it as missing.
Checking
It is possible to de-select modules in your MyTimetable view, so check that every module has a tick.
You will only see activities appear in the weeks that teaching takes place for that module, so please check what week you are viewing.
Further instructions can be found here - https://mytimetable.shu.ac.uk/There are some modules that have limited or no scheduled teaching activities, so not every semester week will have an activity showing for those modules. Therefore, it is important to check each teaching week.
To report the missing activity, please contact Hallam Help
Please provide the following information to Hallam Help when you contact them as follows:
- your name, course and student ID.
- the level you are expecting to see.
- Your start month, e.g. if your course starts in January.
What happens next?
We will try to resolve this as quickly as possible, but the reasons can be complex so in some cases it can take up to four days.
