Reporting a missing activity, e.g. a teaching activity such as a lecture or seminar
  • If you have no activities on your timetable for a module you know you are taking.
  • If you don’t have an activity that you know your fellow students do have.
  • If you don’t have an activity on all the weeks that you are expecting.

This will usually mean that your timetable is incomplete.

Checking

There are times when activities change from week to week, so please check that there isn’t an activity on a different day to the slot it normally takes place if a week looks missed out. For example, you may usually have a practical session on Tuesdays every week, but it may be that one week the session has had to move to Monday (possibly due to needing different equipment, or being taught by someone else). So if you can’t find your regular two hour practical one Tuesday, it’s worth checking that you don’t have a ‘new’ practical on a different day.

It is also possible to de-select a module in your MyTimetable view, so check that every module has a tick . Further instructions can be found here - https://mytimetable.shu.ac.uk/

To report the missing activity, please contact Hallam Help

Please provide the following information to Hallam Help when you contact them as follows:

  • Your name, course and student ID
  • The module name for the missing activity
  • Any details on the activity e.g.
    • For module X I am missing the lecture in week 14
    • For module X I have heard there is a workshop in week 30 that I can’t see
    • For module X some of my class have two seminars, but I only have one seminar

What happens next?
If a whole module is missing it will take three to four days to be resolved.

If it is only part of a module, it will take two to three days to be resolved.
