It's not unusual to have doubts about your course or university and consider leaving. Before making a final decision it's important to get advice as early as possible.
If you are considering withdrawing, the first thing you need to do is read the University's Withdrawal Policy. You should then contact your Student Support Adviser (SSA) to discuss reasons for wishing to withdraw.
Our SSAs offer confidential, non-judgmental advice and can provide additional support you may not already be aware of. They can also help you to explore alternative options if you wish to continue your studies.
Things to consider
If you decide to withdraw, it is important to consider all the implications of leaving university. This includes understanding potential financial and academic consequences that may impact you.

Your withdrawal request will take effect from the date you return the withdrawal form. You will be emailed by a member of the Student Records Service who will confirm that your withdrawal request has been processed and that your student record has been updated to reflect your decision to withdraw.
