Returning your Equipment in-person to Disabled Student Support

 
You can return your equipment directly to a member of the Assistive Technology Service, but you must book an appointment first.
 
If you cannot find an appointment time that suits you, please get in contact via filling in our equipment return form.
 
Returning via Recorded Post
 
If you wish to return the item via post, please fill in our equipment return form and we will provide you with a postal return slip if you don't have one already.
 
Please note that this service is normally only available for students outside of the Sheffield area, or who are unable to return the items to campus due to their disability.
 
 
Returning Your Equipment to the University Mail Room
 
You can return equipment any time during working hours to the University Postal Services. To return to the mailroom: please place the laptop in a postage bag, use protective packaging (e.g. bubble wrap), and address to:

City Campus
 
The City mailroom is open 8am-4pm.
The Collegiate mailroom is open 8am-4pm.


To get to the University Mail Room at City Campus: 

  • Go to level 4 of the Atrium, and head towards the entrance to the library.
     
  • Take the left set of doors and you will now find yourself in this corridor.


     
  • Now go through the double doors, turn right and the university mail room counter will be directly ahead of you.


     

To get to the University Mail Room (Porters' Lodge) at Collegiate Campus

  • Go to the Heart of the Campus building and exit via the Broomgrove Road entrance.

  • Look to the right and you will now see a small building with a ramp entrance. This is the porters' lodge. Knock on the door and somebody will come out to see you.
