A variety of spaces are now available for students to book to use outside of scheduled teaching for a variety of activities. Further details of where these spaces are and how to book them are provided below.

Use a PC PCs are available to book in:
  • Libraries
  • PC labs at city campus

Use of a quiet space for self-directed study


Use of a space to attend online synchronous teaching

A number of meeting rooms and classrooms are now available across the open buildings on campus.

Spaces are also available in the Libraries

To book an individual desk within the libraries use mypc (see here for further information)

To book a meeting room or classroom use Resource Booker (see here for further information)  

Use of spaces for study or any activity:

Social spaces are available within the open buildings and can be used without booking. However, in any space on campus you must:

  • Wear a face covering when moving around all buildings
  • Keep two metres social distancing from people you don’t live with
  • Remember spaces are for individual use only
  • Wipe down your desks/equipment before and after use

Please do not travel if you feel unwell on the day of your booking or have symptoms of Covid 19.
