To collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) you will need to book an appointment slot online.
Log into the portal and select ‘Book an appointment’. Choose ‘BRP collection’ from the options list. Please bring your passport with you to your appointment.
Problems with booking an appointment
If you’re unable to book it means we have not yet received your BRP. Please keep checking the portal as we will update your profile as soon as we receive it.
Unable to collect your BRP
If you find that after a week of arriving in the UK you still are unable to collect your BRP, submit a case on the portal. Title your query as ‘BRP appointment not available’ and we will investigate.
Your BRP will be delivered to us if you have used the University collection code (2HE352) when making your visa application.
If you have not used this code, you will need to check your UKVI decision letter for details on where to collect your BRP from the Post Office. Unfortunately we cannot change the collection point.
Collecting on behalf of someone
If you are collecting a BRP for your dependant, contact Hallam Help and include the name of the dependent and date of birth.
We will then let you know when it's ready for collection.
Report a problem with your BRP
If you notice an error when collecting your card, it’s important you report this straight away.
You can report this on the government website by submitting a BRP error correction form.
