1. The first place to start is with our online self-help careers resources. You can access on our website Careers Connect. It can help you:

  • write quality applications and CVs
  • discover your career preferences
  • identify your skills
  • explore job options
  • pursue career ideas
  • prepare for interviews

2. If you need additional support once you have created your CV, written your application form and viewed our interview practice techniques, our team of Employability Advisers are also here to help you:

  • by suggesting any specific changes to your CV or application to make it even better
  • by proof reading your personal statements
  • by giving you real experience with a practice interview on campus (related to a job that you have applied for) and give you feedback at the end

CV drop-ins run Monday to Friday, in term time, in Careers Connect between 12pm and 1pm. Please note: these drop-ins are not bookable in advance and you will need to bring a pre-prepared CV.

You can book an appointment with an Employability Adviser:

  • online on UniHub
  • by phone on 01142253752
  • at Careers Connect on City Campus
