Yes, you can submit an appeal if you think:

  • There has been an error or irregularity in the assessment process

  • That the decision is not in accordance with the approved assessment regulations

You must complete and submit a Stage One Appeal Form (AA1) within 10 working days of receiving formal notification of the assessment decision.

Student Support staff in your faculty and Student Advisers can also speak to you about appeals. If you would prefer to seek independent advice contact the Students Union Advice Centre.  The policy and forms are available here:-
